Dreams in the Arms of the Binding Lady is a physical story-telling based on Japanese Legend of a Jyorogumo (Binding Lady). Fusion of Japanese physical theatre, unconventional puppetry/mask, and chanting, the show, according to a critic "is a triumphant display of some serious artistry" (DC Theatre Scene). It was commissioned by the Embassy of the United States in Peru and premiered in Danza Nueva Festival in Lima, Peru, and won the Medal of Honor for the Cultural Excellence from the City of Piura, Peru in 2012. Dreams in the Arms of the Binding Lady toured various venes, including the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington DC.
